Linda Baird, MA, LPC is a psychotherapist in private practice and advanced teacher with RUPI. She is passionate about bringing awareness to the responsibility we have as healing professionals to understand the inherent but often overlooked, the power differential between practitioners and patients/clients/students. She has been involved with ethics work as a member of the Hakomi International Ethics Committee for nearly 15 years, mediating grievances and ethical issues with the intention of repair and restoration of relationships. She is also a yoga teacher and most recently has been teaching ethics within her immediate yoga community, as well as in the larger yoga community.

Jennifer Lake, MSN, MA, LPC is a psychotherapist and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in private practice. She enjoys her work and is also passionate about teaching about ethics as it concerns the skillful use of the inherent power we all possess. The unconscious and misuse of power can be seen and felt all over the world. She has been in the International Hakomi Ethics Committee for 2 years and enjoys helping people repair relationships through skillful communication.

“The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don’t have any.” Alice Walker
